One-Day Deer Hunt With Dogs Set For Hellhole Wildlife Area

A one-day deer hunt with dogs is scheduled Thursday, Dec. 19 in Hellhole Wildlife Management Area in Berkeley County within the Francis Marion National Forest.

Neither still-hunting nor rifles will be allowed on this Dec. 19 hunt in Hellhole Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The limit is two deer of either-sex per person. All deer must be checked in at the Hellhole check station, which is located off SC Highway 41 at the Hellhole WMA Campground. The area is open on a first-come, first-serve basis, and all WMA rules and regulations apply.
