If you drew one of the hard to get Nevada antelope tags, you are also eligible to attend one of our annual Antelope Hunting Seminars listed below:

 Las Vegas - Wednesday, July 26, 2006, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Grant Sawyer Building State Office Building

555 E. Washington Las Vegas

Room 4401

Reno - Thursday, July 20, 2006, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

University Nevada, Reno - William J. Raggio Building

Room - WRB 2030

Presentations will include the life history of antelope, safe and responsible hunting and field-scoring of pronghorn, game care, taxidermy, and antelope hunting laws and regulations. This is not mandatory training, but you will greatly benefit from the information provided. It is highly recommended that all hunters attend, especially if this is your first time as a pronghorn tag holder.

NDOW would like to inform you that the antelope tags contain a misprint. Under species characteristics the tag has "male" printed. The tag should read "horns longer than ears". This applies to all tag holders for hunt numbers 2151 (resident any legal weapon), 2161 (resident archery), 2251 (nonresident any legal weapon) and 2261 (nonresident archery).
