Your Dream Hunt!

What is your "dream hunt"?If money and time were not an influence what kind of hunt would you most like to go on and why?Mine would be a true African safari including the Big 5 and at least 3 months of travel around the continent.

A combo Caribou/Dall sheep hunt in the magnificent state of Alaska. It would be an experience not soon forgotten.

Your Dream Hunt!

Theres so many! I hope I will do an African Safari. Doesn't have to be all the expensive animals.....just to go there. I am trying to talk one of my hunting friends into it for 2008 (need to save up).
My dream hunt would be to hunt brown bear in Russia on the Kamchatka peninsula.

the animal that ranks first on my list some reason is the Sable but if I had to pick a trip it would proably be something like a northwest territories province safari with polar bear, moose, caribou, muscox and I think in the low part of the province dalls or stone sheep. Which probably isn't reaslitic so it would have to be Russia for bear, snow sheep and moose.

Hunting Tip: How to Preserve Velvet Antlers

If you want to properly preserve velvet antlers, you will have to inject & brush them with formaldehyde or some of the new less toxic chemicals (4 in 1 solution works great as does Knobloch's antler in velvet tan) as its easier to use however, both will work. First, using rubber gloves take a razor blade and make small incisions at the tips of all points about 1/8". Next hang the antlers upside down, allowing the blood to drain.
