Why am I not dead?

Rather cute that the bush administration feels the need to save the terminally ill from themselves (Schiavo anyone?). Isn't the basic gist of the liberal ideology to save people from themselves: gun control, drug control (ooops that's a conservative agenda), social security, medicaid/medicare.

Sometimes I think the only major difference between a liberal and a conservative is which liberties/freedoms they consider sacred.

Off topic, I know...
