White tails

Hey guys i just moved down from minnesota, and i was wondering if ther are any whitetails in colorado? any thing hleps thanx

Welcome to the BGH forums & to Colorado! Where did you relocate to?

There are whitetails in the eastern portion of Colorado, mostly on the plains towards Kansas & Nebraska.

However on the western slope we have spotted a few whitetails towards the Utah state line, but very few. Its mostly mule deer in the mountains and western part of Colorado.

I did see a whitetail spike horn on the road from Ft. Collins to Walden. My buddies and I were just talking and wondering the same question when we saw him. He was all alone.
