That is a very good time to

That is a very good time to be in your stand. Usually the first 2 - 2 1/2 weeks of November are generally excellent times a swell. Good luck getting the big one.

Not to take away from this

Not to take away from this site, but I would try and look into a Georgie based forum, even just to hop on and ask a question.  They would be the best ones to answer it.  Best of luck to you!

I'm not gonna be hunting down there.  I was just wondering if I would be missing one of the best times to hunt during the bow season.

While you can generalize

While you can generalize about the best time to hunt the rut I think it changes from year to year, region to region.  Generally, the first couple of weeks of the rut are the best, but it will vary slightly each year.  Weather can impact deer movement as well as harvest.  Last year, in Kansas, the farmers were very very late in getting out the corn and that affect hunting.  Deer just hung up in the tall corn fields and you didn't see the movement that you might have seen in years past.

First of all, I know this is

First of all, I know this is a late post compared to others.
+1 CVC's comments.
Something else to consider is the buck to doe ratio. If it is out of balance with more does than bucks, then you still may be to see ruttung behavior on into late November.
Another result of an out of balance herd is the likely hood the second rut will be stronger. The does that didn't get bred during the initial rut will be back in estrous 28 days later. It can be a good time to get a good buck with a rattling sequence. We've had better response during the second rut because MIT ad many does are available.
Location can also effect the timing of the rut. For example, the rut occurs during 3 different time periods in NC. That is something that can be checked via the DOW for your state.
Good luck, Bugs.
