We've been talking about your favorite gun you own, but what was your first? How about, first gun, age you got it, and first animal you shot with it.....
1) H&R Single shot 20 guage
2) 8 or 9 yrs old
3) Squirrell. I think that's how every kid starts.
My first was a old single shot 22 when I was 6. My first critter was a cottontail rabbit.
A Savage Super Sporter in .30-06 when I was 5 years old.
First animal with it was a jackrabbit when I was 12
Now with a BB gun hundreds of lizzards from 8 on
Poor rabbit, there wasn't anything left was there? 
My first gun was a H & R 12 ga break-open shotgun. I guess I was 12 and I killed a squirrel for starters.
It was a 20 gauge...I could not even beging to tell you that brand...think we got it Montgomery wards or something like that.....still have it today.
10 years old.

I have a bolt shotgun handed down to me too. Mine is a Marlin goose gun with a 36" barrel. I've killed a lot doves with it. My buds call it the mile high gun. I wait until the birds get skedish before I bring it out. Once they're flying higher, I bring it out and toast them. The 36" barrel with a full choke will reach out and touch them.
My first was a fiberglass bow, age 2. I Hunted everything that moved in Grany’s yard when I was 5 or 6. I remember taking a few trophy toads out of the ditch and shot a couple rabbits out there too.
Got my first gun as a high school graduation present at age 18, 7MM Rem Mag…. First and only thing taken with that rifle was a cow elk in Colorado around 2001.
My first was a 30-30 lever action, it was a hand me down, i was 12 and shot a blacktail deer with it.
That was my first rifle. A marlin 30-30 lever action. I actually still hunt with it whenever I go back to Vermont. Love the gun.
