Welcome to the new BGH Forum!
Yesterday (April 8th) evening we released a new version of the BGH forum. As some of you may know, this is the first significant overhaul of the forum in two years.
With the new forum registered users can:
- Post pictures. See the Attachment form when replying to or posting a new topic. Each registered member has a set storage space for pictures available on our servers.
- Create polls. Now you can create your own polls. We will still have the monthly poll that we will run throughout BGH.
- Simplified posting. The new post reply (or start topic) is easier to use and has a built in topic review, so you no longer have to "click back" to review the forum.
- Preview your posts. Now you can see what your post will look like, before committing it to the board.
- Improved private messaging. Your private message account now has a much easier to use interface, plus offers an Inbox, Sent, Saved, and Outbox folder.
- View New Posts since last visit. Once logged in click "View posts since last visit" to see what is new on the board since you visited last.
- Timezones. Now you can set the forum time to your local time, by setting your profile timezone relative to GMT.
- Better search. The new search function is more accurate and faster.
- Lots of other smaller enhancements.
