Taper Crimp dies?

 

Any body have or use taper crimp dies?

 

I acquired half a dozen in a box of other reloading items I bought. 

 I’m not sure of the value for resale or even how to use them. 

Anybody know?

Taper crimp

I use em all the time, mostly for straight walled cases and mostly pistol but I have seen a 300 win mag that needed taper crimped to function correctly rather then roll crimp. Thinking bout it I have seen a couple autoloader rifles with same issue.
