I have never understood the womans complaint against leaving the seat up. It takes more energy for us to raise the seat than for them to just let it drop down using gravity to do the hard work.
Something else for them to gripe at us about I reckon.

Women would rather blame men for not putting the seat back down when they fall in the toilet instead of looking first. Watch where you step just took a bad twist.

Solution: Pee on the seat while standing up. Then tape a note to the pot that says something to the effect that the freak voice from the toilet abyss is seriously impairing your aim.

I can't imagine this is anything more than a gag gift. Who takes commands from a talking toliet?

Whats wrong with that? Men should learn how to sit down on a toilet and pee. If a guy can poop sitting down, he can pee sitting down.

But that raises an interesting point. Men DO sit down occasionally, and you don't hear them complaining about the seat being up. Why? Because we all figured out through experience early in our lives to look at what we're about to sit down on. That lesson goes beyond toilet seats.

Here's a question to ask the next time you're pestered -- how often do women sit down in a public restroom without checking the seat first? NEVER. And that's in a restroom used exclusively by women. So despite their continual bluster, they apparently trust men with seat discipline but not their fellow women. This also demonstrates that they're fully capable of doing a seat check, but don't feel they should have to for a man.

It ain't about touching cold porcelain -- it's about control and the power to dictate rules of engagement for a certain part of a man's anatomy.
