Taking advantage

I'll be taking advantage of our very cold weather and cover of snow by making a trip to the woods to hunt (deer) this afternoon. This may be the first year ever I've been able to do that on as many as three days (at least one of the few years). We'd had some really cold weather two weeks or so ago and I was able to hunt the 2nd M/L season in Kentucky in the snow too. No luck then and very cold, but enjoyable, nonetheless!

I am hoping some other states (Geaorgia, S.C., N.C. ??) also have some deer seasons open so more hunters can enjoy this non-typical weather. Good luck to those that can!

Yea, I heading out the door

Yea, I heading out the door now that the Reddkins just beat Jacksonville on OT. I won't hunt this afternoon but I plan on hunting all day tomorrow. I'll spend the day tracking deer. Maybe I can be quiet enough to sneak up on a deer. It's any deer tomorrow. I need a couple more deer so I'm not going to be picky. It's been a slow year so I can't be picky as I only have 6 days left. Good luck to anyone else out there hunting.
