Yes it is from he buckeye state. Right here in Tuscarawas county.

You know it's kind of funny, but I used to do a lot of long range deep sea fishing out of San Diego for a week at a time, and most people would want to mount some of the big fish they caught including me. On one of the boats I usually went on, they had small versions hanging around the galley and all of Tuna, Wahoo, etc. Talking to the captain how much I liked them, he suggested I do the same. Not only is it far more affordable, they add nice accents to walls without being over-bearing if you know what I mean. Besides, most wives has less problems with them too he said, LOL.

Anyway, usually not being able to afford mounts, I started squeezing in small things here and there from fish I caught that normally would be thrown back, like colorful Darado/Mahi Mahi in my kitchen to Squirrels in the den. I also made my own Turkey design to hang with some feathers etc. and the arrow I got it with one year. I think they look pretty cool myself, more affordable, and don't take up a whole wall...

(still love to have a monster Elk someday though, 'cha-ching', ha ha)
