SCI NEW WORLD RECORD GRIZZLY FOR CANADA

# 1 SCI Record Book Grizzly Killed in B.C. 2008

Its been 14 years since a NEW SCI #1 grizzly was killed in Canada and again on the Coastal Mainland of B.C in MU i-15
This bear was harvested in MU 1-15 by an SCI member from Spain!
Skull measured 26 12/16" SCI with an exceptional length of 17 4/16".
Hide squared 8' 7" without the "Texas Stretch" and was badly scared and old.
Bear was emaciated and weighed less than 800 lbs. with no teeth left in tact.
Regardless, a great trophy animal that will be dubed the "Apple River Grizzly"and
be a hard one to beat for future bear hunters.
