Permission to hunt

Don't know about Ohio but it is possible to still get permission around here, if you know people. However more ranches are moving to pay only access....

CO has another program called "ranching for wildlife". The way I understand this program (I have never used it) is that ranches that pool together enough acreage and do habitat improvement can then apply to the DOW for an allotment of tags which the ranchers can then distribute as they wish. The catch is that the ranchers then must also allow a certain number of public draw hunters to access their land at no charge.

On a different note, I always wondered where the .com yuppies went after the nasdaq tanked. Now I know.... Wink
