new to NC

I'm going to be moving to the Fayetteville area(military) in June and was wondering if anyone could give me some help with where to hunt and fish and possible make acouple of friends that hunt and fish. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I live in durham.

I live in Durham, about 2 hours away. There are several places nearby to hunt, or fish. I'll get back with ya!

I live south west of Raleigh (Holly Springs), and there are some great places to fish around here (Jordan Lake, Harris Lake). Aren't there places to hunt around the base? A buddy of mine is a biologist stationed at Bragg and he finds tons of hunting stuff on Federal lands around there. I bet you will come across some decent spots.
