I live in Utah and have a general season tag for Elk in the North Slope-Dagget county unit. I went once two years ago and saw only one bull. Unfortunately, four other hunters saw it the same time I did. The next thing I know is that there are four distinct holes in one bull elk and four men arguing over it. Needless to say, I got off the mountain in a hurry.
This year I'd like to do it right, so I need all the advice that I can get. I'm trying to find a partner to go out with but as of now I'm going alone. I'd also like to know if anyone out there can point me into the direction of a few elk and not alot of people.
