Nevada Deer Tags Reduced; Commission Sets 2003 Big Game Quot

Was at the N.D.O.W.meeting in Las Vegas,earlier this Spring when Season dates were set for 2003 Hunts.N.D.O.W. proposed THEN,a slight cut in tags from 2002,but wanted to shorten the Season,by 1 week,the 1st. week.Local "Advisory Boards"said "NO WAY"wanted the traditional 5 week Season.So this is why the Nv.Deer hunters ended up geting shorted 844 tags in 2003

Good Luck to those that applied in Nevada.The "POSTING" of tag holders will be on June 20th.on N.D.O.W. web site---
