Good for you and everyone else that got there Antelope I just started scouting for elk for my October through November elk hunt, AND HAVE SO FAR SEEN GROUSE. I stayed over night at broke off mountain for labor day, & have discovered that the antelope are currently not hanging around the San Antonio mountain area right off the main dirt road to lagunitas. Last year during the elk hunt I was able to see antelope at least. I know I didn't see now, because the Atelope hunt has been going on in August. They are probably still scared and hanging out away from the dirt roads, where hunters can take a shot. As for now, the elk seem to be undisturbed and waiting for the rifle hunts to start!
