I don't know how it could get any simpler than going into Wal Mart and buying a license over the counter....

Simpler? It could be simpler by passing up Wal-Mart and going to a store where the employees understand what you're talking about....

I agree it is more convenient to pay for and print the license at home, but simpler?

I have no vested interest in Wal Mart, but it is convenient to pick up my license at the same time I'm picking up last minute items to take with me into the field. Granted, most of the employees don't know beans about anything, but as long as I know what I'm talking about, it doesn't seem to interfere with me purchasing a hunting license, in-state or out-of-state.

Call me old-fashioned, but I'm just not too hip on sending a lot of personal information through the internet. I've had my ID stolen and believe me, it's no fun straightening that out.

Funny story about Wal Mart. There was an outstanding buck on display at one of the local stores, and I asked the young man benind the counter what the deer scored out at. His reply, "Down around Rolla, I think."

End of conversation.
