I agree. If you can fish on Sunday, how is hunting any different? I like the idea that I don't "have" to do all my hunting on Sat. if Sun. was available. Sunday hunting is not allowed in Nova Scotia and I don't think that will chance in the near(or distant) future. Hell, we can even get Sunday shopping here. ,)

I would certainly agree with hunting on sunday I'm a trapper of 40 years and now I can trap on Sunday and carry my rifle to dispatch animals in my traps so what the hell is the difference if shoot a coyote or bear on Sunday . Why can.t I shoot a deer or rabbit or partridge . Like I always say That's to do with the brains we have running the country . They couldn't run a W.H. by hand .LOL.

I might have 1 answer to the question why we can't hunt on sunday or maybe 2 answers One would be that that the gov. don't wan't to spend the money to pay extra patroll on sunday or the second thing would be that nobody wants to work on sunday 'I bet if they got a report of illeaglel activity on sunday they would be there .So it 's just another day . I agree with every body else that Sunday is just another day . We as hunters should voice our opinion . We have an orginazation called West River Wildlife Ass . Don't hear much about it any more . I would like to get my mouth going at the ministers who make the regulations but I don't have a filter between my brain and my mouth . "LOL" Their just a bunch of liars and theives And not to be trusted . Where i'm conserned the filter is a must LOL

Howdy ya'll I'm new to the BB but when I seen this I just had to jump on it. I'm Stationed in Virginia. Virginia DOESN'T ALLOW SUNDAY HUNTING. Old laws of yester years are to blame. This is the first time I lived in a state that didn't allow Sunday hunting. Heck I didn't even know states had such laws. The things we take for granted. I know some ya can't fly and hunt the same day but thats differant.
In any event I'm a member of VaDeer.com and we have launched a statewide campain to have the law overturned. We are also working the same issue in NC. I believe only 8 states ban Sunday hunting and all are East coast. The biggest issue is folks feel sunday is a day of worshop and rest even for the animals. I personally feel that if I choose to not attend church and take my kids hunting in GODS COUNTRY then I and everyone else should have that right. But as I've been told "Your a yank transplant, ya got no business in VA laws and traditions."
If ya'll happen to live a one of these such states stop on by the VaDeer.com forum and see some of the stuff we have done about getting the word out. You just may be the one key factor that gets such a law overturned in your state.

They didn't eat . There is still situations today the same as back then . I;m going to get a little personal . One time I was off work due to injury and I had to actually almost come to blows to get enough money for food to feed the 4 of us from welfare . U can bet that won't happen again . I'll hunt to put food on the table They can shove the welfare where the light don't shine . I'll bet I'm not the only one that feels that way . The gov. dont care abouy U and I all their interested in is filling their pockets . It's not impossible to create a monster . See what I mean I need a filter between the brain and the mouth

I forgot the most important thing . In 1989 when I had to quit work because of bad disc in my back and artherits . and then MS in 2000 When this all started in 89 I had to fight for 2 years to get my c p p that i paid into for 20 years . I just love to see some candates come to visit me looking for votes . That's when I really need the filter . I'm sorry if I'm getting off track but the Gov is behind everything AND i SHOULDN'T GO THERE . I have to get off this subject
