I never hunted antelope, but anytime I have seen them they are usually a half mile away, and if I stepped towards them a foot or two they took off. I dont want to hunt them by a water hole seems to easy. But an old sniper friend of mine told me, that back in the sixties he shot alot for meat to eat during the long winters in wyoming. He used a stick about 5 feet long with a white cloth on one end and just waved it and lowered it.Waiting about 20 minutes he did it again. Then he looked around to see if any antelope were visible. After repeating the flag waving several more times the antelope would be attracted to see what the white flag was that they got so close that he could shoot them within 50 feet.Has anyone else ever tried this? If not maybe we should.
