I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some information on a pair of 12" high boots I found in a thrift store. The upper boot appears to be a heavy canvas material. They have seven eyelets for lacing up. There is a small tag on the inside that reads: 'Gore-tex fabric'. There is no brand name that I can find unless it is 'Gore-Tex'. They have a water proof rubber (I think) moccasin style sole. There is a Thinsulate thermal insulation removable bootie inside. Each boot has two velcro flaps on each side on the top. They are in excellent condition and would make a very nice all weather boot but I was curious about what purpose they were actually made for. If anyone would like a picture I can email one. Thanks in advance for your help.
