Finally received the pics from my sister of my nephews 2008 bull. It was finished in August but just received some pics and thought I would share. My nephew took this bull during the 2008 archery season, he was 14 and it was his first elk.

That's a beautiful bull!!! Just curious, what's the weight on one of those mounts? Just wondering how much you have to anchor it into the wall......

The mount is quite heavy, I don't know exactly the wieght, but we use a 3/8 x 3 1/2 lag bolt in a stud to keep them on the wall.

Thanks for the great comment and he has huge bases.(If you measure around the base, not B&C measurement but above the burrs). It measures 13 1/2 inches.

Great typical bull! I like the symmetry and the mount is well done.
What did the bull score? I'm guessing 320 on the low side and 350 on the high side...
