I guess there is justice in the land after all !!!
Hmmm... saw this on another site and thought about posting, beat me to the punch JTapia. ;-)
I don't understand why this guy is getting so jeered in the media. If the man can't get anybody to take the puppies and can't afford to feed them (i'm speculating) isn't a quick death more humane?
How is this fundamentally any different than the thousands of pets that are euthanized around the country in shelters because nobody wants them?
I noticed that, too. It's an unstated assumption that killing an animal yourself is immoral/illegal, but having someone else do it is OK. A lot of people may have a hard time accepting the guy's behavior, but in terms of legal precedent it's not that much of a stretch to go from shooting a dog to shooting a hog to butcher for your family. For that matter, you could go further and talk about butchering chickens. People would be horrified at the thought of cutting off a puppy's head with an axe.
The arrest is outta line. Any thing these days thats warm and fuzzy and has pretty eyes get's the animal wrongs groups fighting to give them more rights that we have. I have two friends right now that are facing these same charges for tieing up one of their goats while a panther was in the area. One of the more popular animal wrongs groups pushed fish and game to make the charges. the goat was tied with in 20 feet of the guys front door. They tied it to keep it from getting attacked and had a video camera set up so they could see it. They had been loosing animals and wanted to document what was killing them. The cat attacked it and they chased the cat off and saved their goat. They came close to getting charged for baiting a endangered species. Fish and game feels the whole thing was justified but they got a stack of letters from the members of the animal wrongs group saying they would sue them if they didn't press charges. I could say alot more about how stupid these charges are but the case is on it's way to court and I don't wanna post details online. I really belive we have reached a point where the stupid people in this country are taking control. Taking an animals life be it a mouse or a moose is all the same.

I could not agree with you more Jeffalaska. Seems like it pays huge dividends to be all cute, furry and cuddly.
I see no crime unless he was target practicing on them or something like that, but a bullet to the head is the same humane death as a Hyperberic Chamber or Lethal injection.
Yeah, what's the difference between animal control euthanizing animals, and the owner euthanizing his litter? The difference is goverment wants to take away your rights, your power and exercise that power over you. There are many examples of this in society, such as if a man rapes your wife, by all natural law you have every right to shoot the bastod, however societal law makes it a felony for you to do so, instead abridging your right. Libertarians Unite:) zeN
The same ignorant bastards that raise hell about animal rights are usually the same ones that defend abortion as a right....go figure.
Only problem with abortion is we need more of it. More death penalty, too, enough of this rehabilitation and forgiveness. The situation in Florida shows what a failure that's been.
The animal activists themsevles kill animals. This is very interesting. http://www.petakillsanimals.com/
