Bowhunting NS

What is going on out there, anyone getting any deer, ..seeing any..?
Rut has started I see, rubs, scrapes etc...Juan has reilly sent the deer into small pockets here and there....Just have to scout to find those pockets

I don't bow hunt but I am scouting and seeing some signs but no animals yet. It really takes the small game season to go full out to change where the deer are going to go now that hunters are back in the woods. It has been very warm as well so the deer are probably moving at night more.

Hunting Tip: Buckwheat - The Food Plot Cure-All?

Let me start off by saying I am not a farmer. I am a deer hunter and I do own a tractor and have all of the equipment - but that does not make you a farmer any more than standing in the garage makes you a car - well, you get the picture! Having said that - and with most of my ineptitude fairly well hidden - I do think that buckwheat is one of the most under rated cover crops out there. I say cover crop because I see mixed results as it relates to the deer eating the plants. Succulent...
