Bin Laden is eliminated!!
We all should be duly proud of what our fine military has accomplished, this time our Navy Seals & Special Ops. As I'm sure you realize these men are very highly trained and simply fearless, taking chances most would never even consider. Last night was near zero illumination and our miltary's ability to fly and perform ground conditions under such conditions keeps our military in the forefront among the few elite militaries of today's world. Have no doubt about that.

Personally, I am glad Bin Laden was not taken alive. He was eliminated, showing our military prowess and also the mind set of our military and it's leaders. His continued life in confinement, no matter how long that might have been, would have been a serious issue perhaps causing continued terrorist problems.

God Bless America!

I'm relieved and impressed!

I'm relieved and impressed! I'm also glad that he wasn't taken alive.

We need to make sure our military gets the credit they deserve. All the boasting by Obama and his advisers is starting to get a bit old.

I, for one, have no problem

I, for one, have no problem with Obama and his staff "boasting".  I actually don't think they are acting that badly, but it was a great day.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with 99% of what he says/does, but in this case, I must give him credit.

Bush made it his mission after 9/11 to get Osama.  When Obama took over, he also made it his mission to get him  Never once did he waiver on the Afghan war, as he thought that we had a legitimate reason to be there.  And to the contrary, he committed more troops.  he was just against Iraq.

Like I said, I don't like him, and even with this, won't be voting for him in 2012.  However, I cannot let my politics cloud my judgement in saying that he had ba!!s for approving a raid, on a sovereign nation, without so much as a heads up first.  Heck, some guys just recommended a cruise missle or predator strike.

Congrats goes out to Bush, Obama, the military, and the intelligence community.  It was a stellar effort by all!!!!!
