Its time to start planning our next "experience". We intend to hunt black bear somewhere. . . . Would like a spot and stalk hunt, whether guided or simply outfitted. Where is the best bet for (1) a "trophy" bear and (2) high chance of success. We still haven't done everything once so this will be our only bear hunt for a number of years. We have been to Alaska caribou, deer and duck hunting, Canada for waterfowl, continental US for antelope, deer, watefowl etc.
As for bear, Alaska? Canada? other? Specific areas? I see reports that POW is overcrowded/overhunted. PWS? etc.? British Columbia? Any thoughts, info would be appreciated.
Thanks
