I hear ya about the access issue. For all the belly-aching I hear around about the deer eating all the crops the farmers sure aren't overly eager to let hunters have access. ,)

Since you mentioned Dunrobin (which is right in my neck of the woods) there's the Carp Hills community forest along Stonecrest/Carp Rd. The county office at Kinburn Side Rd/Carp Rd has a up-to-date map showing exactly where is public. There's also a patch of crown land out Cedar Hill way (near Pakenham) and around White Lake.

You may already have it, but if not I highly reccomend the Eastern Ontario Outdoor Recreation and Resource Map available at the MNR office in Kemptville (probably elsewhere too).

Thanks for the info. I'll look into picking up a map this week. Have you had much luck this year? Finally the weather is starting to co-operate. Hope to get out this week Friday is looking good.

I'm not a bow hunter so I haven't been out yet. Looking forward to Nov, and also Dec now that I have a muzzleloader too
