I took out a nice old gray faced 9 point this morning. I shot him out of the stand my son and I call the apple orchard stand. We have probably taken 12 bucks and numerous does out of this stand since we put it up in 99'. I'm pretty sure we have taken over 30 deer out of this stand alone. I will post pics and story later.

With all the luck we have
With all the luck we have been having I just felt better going with the crossbow. Plus my back and shoulder have been acting up again. The other day my shoulder was huring so bad I could barely hold up 5 pounds without having excruciating pain.

Congratulations Man of the Fall! Did you look at his teeth? Was he pretty old? I do not think you can really ever complain about that stand. It sounds like it has really proven itself. That would be pretty neat to have a set up like that. You would definitely create a bond with the area, the tree and the stand. You might as well just start calling that area the bone yard. Or you could even call it the graveyard. That is awesome. Good work and I hope your success continues.
