I have been hunting a real nice scrape line here in Michigan. I mean 8 or 9 scrapes in a 40 yard area, I mean limbs broke off, 2-3 foot srapes, the rubs around there are nice as well. My stand is about 30 yards away from the start of the scrapes near a open feild. Its on public land so I know Iam not the only one who knows about, I saw an other hunter on Wed. hunting about 50 yards away. These scrape where fresh last week and have not been opended in a 3 or 4 days and it rained real hard 2 days ago. You would think they would open up those scrapes after a good rain? I know there are bucks in the area just not seeing them. I did see a 6 point walk right under the other guys stand about 20 minutes after the hunter left. The other guy is sitting right on top of a major trail with a 12 foot lader stand. I know the rut is real close a week at the most. Would this hunting pressure cause them to make scrape somewhere else?, I would think they would be opened the scrapes at night? I did see a nice doe yesterday about 8:30 but some guys scouting kicked her up. So should I move deeper in the woods or stay put? Thanks
