Texas Bow Hunt Success

This is my first buck with a bow taken on the Pitchfork Ranch in Guthrie, Texas. I got in the stand about 3:30 in the afternoon and was only there for about 5 minutes when a spike walked up and following him was this nice eight pointer. It scored 120.75" and I am getting him mounted.

This is my most memorable hunt to date. It happened so fast I really do not remember making a release on him. I made a good shot on him at 20 yards and he ran about 20 yards and fell in his tracks. I'm a freshman in college at McPherson College in Kansas and play on the football team as run for the track team. I just turned 19 years old and I can't wait for the many hunts that I am going to enjoy in the future.
