Lower Michigan Wild Boar Hunt

On October 12th, 2008 I had the pleasure of going on a Russian Wild Boar hunt for disabled hunters in lower Michigan. I used a 50 cal. blackpowder rifle. It was a once in a lifetime hunt for me, it was wonderful. I had a great time with the whole hunt. I would recommend it to anyone who is a disabled hunter to try it. The boar weighed 200 pounds. I got him with one shot at 7:30 am in the morning. So for now I say Hunt Safe & Shoot Straight!

Good Shot!

Way to go on the boar.

It looks like we're going to be having more opportunities to hunt those critters on public land with them spreading like wildfire everywhere!

Glad you were able to go on this hunt and harvest a pig.

Thanks for the report.
