I harvested this buck in Delaware County, Iowa with my Mossberg 12 gauge in December of 2004.

That buck most definitely qualifies as a trophy whitetail and I like your enthusiasm in stating it's your first one as if there most surely will be more. Congratulations on bagging a buck the like of which most of will probably never even see in our lifetimes.

Hunting Tip: Fooling Old Tom

Every year my Pro-Staff and I head to the woods to hunt the old wise Tom. We travel thousands of miles covering numerous states hunting these old guys. Lots of times we end up hunting public lands or private property that have been hunted already.
