The Fellowship of Christian Hunters and the Giles County Deer Hunters Association are having a Youth Deer Hunt, on Saturday, October 25, 2008, for ages 6-16. Deer check-in will be at Richland Trace Market from 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The prize for the largest buck will be a free shoulder mount. The prize for the largest doe will be a free gun.
A banquet will be held at the Giles County Baptist Association Building on October 25, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. A meal will be served and numerous door prizes will be given away.
Mentor hunts are available for those ages 10-16 who may need a guide. Hunters ages 10-16 must have passed a hunter education course. Triple Threat Outdoors will be video taping a hunt.
The registration deadline will be October 15th to receive an event T-shirt and October 24 without a T-shirt. The cost is $10.00.
