The Milan Army Ammunition Plant will hold a public drawing for 12 turkey permits for the 2009 spring turkey hunting season. Interested persons can go to the following hunting Web site for application instructions: www.milanarsenalhunting.com and then view under Hunting Notices: 2009 Public Hunting Permits for Spring Turkey Season.

The 2009 statewide spring turkey hunting season runs from March 28 through May 10.
