Antlerless Deer Season Dates Set 04/07/06
“Essentially the dates will remain the same as last year, with only minor calendar adjustments,” said Alan Peoples, wildlife chief for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. “However, we did make one small change. After hearing from hunters in southeast Oklahoma (zone 10) we have moved the antlerless deer day in the middle of the regular gun season to a Saturday, rather than Sunday.” [Comments?]

Manitoba Deer Hunt
It was the first day of the 2007 rifle season in beautiful Manitoba, Canada. I was out hunting all archery season and was unable to successfully fill my tag with any sort of deer, buck or doe. So naturally I was raring to go when rifle season hit.
