The
N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is reminding hunters that part of
their pre-season preparations should include renewing their hunting
licenses - and it's
not too early to purchase now.
"Online makes it easier than ever," said Lisa Hocutt, manager
for Wildlife Resources Commission customer support services. "From
the comfort of home, you can get a license by going to www.ncwildlife.org.
Or you can use the Web site to locate wildlife
service agents in your
community to purchase a license in person."
To purchase by phone, call toll free 1-888-248-6834, Monday through
Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Please have your Visa or MasterCard number
ready.)
The Wildlife Resources Commission reminds all first-time hunting license
buyers they must first complete a hunter
safety education course, offered
free by the Wildlife Resources Commission in all 100 counties. First-time
license buyers may also use online and phone services to obtain a license.
For more information
on online services available, including types of licenses, the hunting
seasons, regulations and safety precautions, consult the 2006-2007
Regulations Digest, available from license
agents or online here.
