The results of the 2007 moose license draw are available. Hunters who entered the draw may find out if they were successful by calling 1-800-459-3729, or online at http://www.gnb.ca/Natural Resources. The toll-free number will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Callers will be asked to enter their New Brunswick medicare number using the telephone keypad. Applicants will then be told if they were successful in the draw. Validation stickers will be sent to all successful applicants. In order to purchase licenses, hunters must bring a validation sticker and valid New Brunswick medicare card to a Natural Resources office or a participating Service New Brunswick centre after Aug. 13.

There were 57,474 applications for moose licenses, with a total of 3,110 hunters drawn for licenses. The 2007 moose hunting season is scheduled for Sept. 27-29.

How to Lose a Good Hunting Stand
A few months ago a good friend of mine moved to San Antonio and I was eyeing that Remington Youth 243 he was about to pack up. I really wanted it to start taking my 9 year old son Zach hunting so we made a deal on the gun. He has been tagging along with me a few years to food plot stands and we have seen a few deer over the years.
