Hunters still have time to purchase chances for elk and deer SuperTag hunting licenses for a hunt of a lifetime this fall.

Beginning July 9th, SuperTag chances for bison, antelope and mountain lion are also available online and from most licenses providers.

Resident and nonresident hunters can buy an unlimited number of $5 chances to win a Montana SuperTag hunting license for some of the state’s most popular big game species. Each SuperTag license allows one to hunt in any Montana hunting district open for that species.

The antelope, bison, deer, elk, and mountain lion SuperTag deadline is Aug. 2. Sales for moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat SuperTags have already ended

Three Hour Archery Antelope Hunt
Another scorching hot August day found myself again in a blind attempting to ambush an antelope wandering in for a drink. There were a few differences this year from years past, that being there had been quite a few rain showers just prior to the August 15th opener, filling up all the ponds.
