The 2006 Antlerless Deer Permit
allocations by Wildlife Management Zone (WMZ) appear below. "Percent
Change" indicates the difference in the number of available permits
from last year's allocations.
The Permit Drawing
will be held at a location soon to be announced. A presentation on deer
populations and management goals will also be given by MassWildlife
deer biologist, Bill Woytek. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Note: Application Deadline is July 16, 2006.
If You Didn't Apply for a Permit or Get Drawn for
a Permit--Extra permits will go on sale on October 10. More details
will be posted after the Antlerless Deer Permit Drawing.
