Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks

Posted on: 09/12/07 [Comments?]

Printed copies of the 2007 Kansas Hunting & Furharvesting Regulations Summary will be available at Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) offices and license vendors around the state soon, but hunters can view or download the summary now at the KDWP website, www.kdwp.state.ks.us. Type "Hunting Regulations" in the search box at the department's homepage or click on "Hunting," then "Hunting Regulations."

"We expect that printed copies will be available the week of Sept. 10 at department offices and license vendors around the state," says Bob Mathews, chief of KDWP's Information and Education Section. "In the meantime, interested hunters can view, download, and print any or all of the summary by visiting our website."

How to Lose a Good Hunting Stand
A few months ago a good friend of mine moved to San Antonio and I was eyeing that Remington Youth 243 he was about to pack up. I really wanted it to start taking my 9 year old son Zach hunting so we made a deal on the gun. He has been tagging along with me a few years to food plot stands and we have seen a few deer over the years.
