Browning Expands Apparel Line
Browning

Posted on: 06/10/09 [Comments?]

Browning has expanded its apparel line-up to include new products that will be featured in Mossy Oak's popular Treestand camo pattern for 2009.

The Mossy Oak Treestand pattern utilizes the same silhouette-altering technology found in all the Mossy Oak patterns. It was designed specifically for hunting from an elevated position effectively erasing the outline of an elevated hunter among the bare limbs and of a late fall tree.

Browning will offer the latest Mossy Oak pattern in its new Wasatch hooded sweatshirt, hooded zippered sweatshirt and in the Wasatch short sleeve t-shirt. The Wasatch sweatshirts are constructed of 9-ounce, 80/20 poly fleece and feature rib knit cuffs/waistband and drawcord adjustable hood. The Wasatch hooded zippered model also features front handwarmer pockets. The Wasatch short sleeve t-shirt fabric is 100-percent cotton jersey and features a front pocket. All new Wasatch apparel items will be offered in other Mossy Oak patterns that include: Brush, Break-Up and Duck Blind. The suggested retail is $15 - $18 for Wasatch t-shirt and $50 - $54 for Wasatch hooded sweatshirts.

Browning's new Illusion long and short sleeve t-shirts will also be available in Mossy Oak Treestand as well as other Mossy Oak patterns for 2009. The new Illusion t-shirts fabric is a quick-drying, 100-percent polyester that is perfect in hot weather or for heavy exertion. The moisture-wicking fabric moves perspiration away from the body for quick evaporation. Both models will feature a chest pocket and crew neck in sizes S-3XL. The suggested retail is $30 - $36.

Long Range Manitoba Coyote
Most days, a typical coyote hunt for me consists of what seems like endless treks through knee-deep snow, and countless stands spent blowing on hand calls of some sort. Coyote hunting for me has always been about trying to entice the weariest of prey to come out and "play," or for a free meal. This story is of a totally different coyote hunting technique that kind of presented itself, I had no part in calling or enticing my prey on this certain morning, although I tried desperately.
