Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Agents on Jan. 21 arrested Yshua Goldsberry, 19, of Pearsons Corner Road, Dover. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and failing to display a state hunting license while hunting deer in the Norman G. Wilder Wildlife Area near Petersburg.

Agents seized a 12-gauge shotgun, several rounds of ammunition and a large "buck" style hunting knife from Goldsberry's possession. Goldsberry was taken to Justice of the Peace Court 7 in Dover, where he was released on $1,050 unsecured bond pending arraignment in the Court of Common Pleas.

Massachusetts 8 Point Deer
This is one of two deer that I harvested this past 2008 season in eastern Massachusetts zone 11. The first one was a 7 point, one hundred eighty pound buck. This one is my biggest to date, was an 8 point two hundred two pounds that I shot at forty yards. All deer that I have taken have been by bow only. I'm looking very much towards the 2009 season!
