British Columbia 2007 Hunting Regulations Available Online
British Columbia Fish and Wildlife Branch

Posted on: 07/09/07 [Comments?]

The British Columbia hunting and trapping regulations for 2007-08 are now available online, through Service BC Government Agents' offices, and in stores where hunting and trapping licences are sold.

Regional hunting and trapping regulation, published in the British Columbia Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis, may change from year to year to address conservation and safety concerns, and to allow expanded opportunities where wildlife populations warrant it.

Major regulation changes are detailed on page 2 of the synopsis. For changes specific to a region, check the map notation on the front page of the section for that region.

It is estimated that resident and non-resident hunters and trappers spend more than $100 million each year in B.C., providing a significant boost to provincial and regional economies.

The electronic version of the synopsis is available online at: www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wild/synopsis.htm .

Arkansas Double-Bearded Tom
My morning started out the same as the past mornings in south Arkansas. No birds gobbling at daylight, so I sat listening. Not a sound in ear range for more than two hours. Trying all the calls in my pack with my alum slate in hand. There he was 300 yards away talking back, then 200 yards.
