Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals Lake, located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is popular year-round, as each season unfolds a new panorama. Summer contrasts lush green hardwoods and cedar glades against towering rocky bluffs and unusual rock formations. Fall foliage presents the renowned "Flaming Fall Revue." Bull Shoals Lake is a water sports paradise. Nineteen parks offer modern camping conveniences around the lake. Marinas have rental boats, supplies, and guides for hire.
Cache River NWR
Cache River National Wildlife Refuge is located in the White River Basin of east central Arkansas, within commuting distance of Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas. The refuge was established in 1986 with acquisition continuing on a willing seller basis within the 175,000 acre acquisition boundary. The refuge is identified in the North America Waterfowl Management Plan as the most important area in the Mississippi flyway for wintering mallards, and it has been identified as a Wetland of International Importance. The refuge is also an important migratory corridor for neotropical wading and shore birds. Refuge habitat is primarily bottomland hardwood forest interspersed with many sloughs, bayous, and oxbow lakes. Over 200 species of songbirds, 50 species of mammals, and 45 species of reptiles and amphibians occur on the refuge, as well as endangered birds, plants, mussels, and fish. Cache River Refuge is home to the only population of native black bear in Arkansas, and the largest population in the Mississippi alluvial valley.
Central High School National Historic Site
Little Rock Central High School, now Central High School National Historic Site, is a national emblem of the often violent struggle over school desegregation. It was designated a unit of the National Park Service on November 6, 1998. It is located at the intersection of Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive and Park Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Crowley`s Ridge Parkway
Crowley`s Ridge is the only known erosional remnant in North America. A mixture of plant communities and a diversity of species respond to abrupt changes in soil type, exposure, moisture, and slope.
Dardanelle Lake - Ark.Riv.Nav.Sys
Located near the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, the picturesque shoreline, excellent fishing and abundant wildlife provide ideal conditions for nature enthusiasts and camera bugs. The river valley is a favorite wintering area for the American bald eagle. Parks offer modern amenities such as boat launching ramps, drinking water, camping areas, picnic sites and other facilities for the convenience of all.
David D. Terry Lock And Dam - Ark.Riv.Nav.Sys
Located on the eastern and western city limits of Little Rock, the recreation activities provided by Pool 6 attracts many outdoor enthusiasts. Pool 6 offers excellent fishing, especially in the old river cutoffs and the tailwaters of the dam and Murry Lock and Dam upstream.
