The Arizona Game and Fish Department is partnering with several organizations to offer introductory hunting camps for youth and adults who want to learn how to hunt small game in Arizona.

"These fun hands-on camps are designed to provide youngsters and new hunters with an opportunity to enhance their hunting and camping knowledge and skills here in Arizona, while also teaching them the values of stewardship and wildlife conservation," says Tristanna Bickford, hunter recruitment and retention coordinator.

Participants will learn information on firearm safety, hunting opportunities, game care, archery instruction, survival basics and first aid. There will also be hands-on hunting opportunities with experienced mentors.
