Emergency Regulations Enacted For Special State Park Deer Hunts
Alabama Game and Fish Commission

Posted on: 10/26/05 [Comments?]

In preparation for regulated archery deer hunts at Oak Mountain State Park scheduled in November, December, and January, Commissioner Barnett Lawley of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announces regulations governing the hunts.

Rule 220-2-.134.139ER Special State Park Hunting Regulation details the rules of the special bow and arrow hunts. The rule specifies requirements concerning hunter qualification, equipment, and behavior during the hunts. An amendment to the rule provides for the use of crossbows at the special state park hunts.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama’s natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Parks, State Lands, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.

Minnesota Twin Albino Deer
These twin albino deer have been coming to my backyard feeder since they were fawns in 2006. They turned 2 years old this spring and still come to my feeder every day! I'm an avid deer hunter and harvesting albino deer in Minnesota is legal.
