If you want to hear a crazy story just listen to this. I was in my ground blind on opening day in Texas November 1, 2008 when this guy came out around 6:30 a.m. and came to my feeder where there were already several does and a small buck. He paid no attention to any of them and started to eat corn and nibble on raspberry flavered blocks. I can't say why I didn't shoot him right away, maybe temporarily insane. I watched this deer for 1 hour before I harvested him. One time he started to leave and jumped out of fenced feeder and I got him to come back when I remotely activated the feeder again. He returned for 30 more min. and while he was there I decided to try my trail cam remote on him when he walked in front of the camera a couple of times, still not planning to shoot him. Not until he left again and came my way did I make the decision to take him. He is my largest ever in 30 years! He could have left many times and never been seen by me again, CRAZY or what?
