Tony's Mock Scrapes!

A guy I know is king of the mock scrapes!

Here are some of his photos - all taken off of 2 small tracts the Tony hunts.

I will save the "recipe" for the mock scrapes for a hunting tip.

One photo is not of a mock scrape at all - it is a photo of a GREAT buck crossing a little creek. Another is of a great buck, in a food plot - during daylight hours!

Hunting Tip: Green Winter Plots

Winter is tough on whitetails, that is an accepted fact. You can help the quality of your herd by providing winter plots - that are not necessarily designed as kill plots. Having what I call green plots - that the deer can browse in when most of the other food is gone, can greatly benefit the deer herd when they need it most.
