Youth Outdoor Skills Seminar
The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host a free youth outdoor skills day on June 11 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at 4255 Sinton Road in Colorado Springs.
Activities will include: how to interpret wildlife tracks; basic archery; outdoor survival skills; and simulated target practice on an electronic hunting game.
The event is open to boys and girls ages 8-14 who are accompanied by an adult.
Everything necessary to participate will be provided. Families should bring a sack lunch or there are restaurants nearby.
